Following its successful launch in Seville and Mexico City, within the framework of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) and the XVI Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean, the Care Pavilion seeks to continue positioning itself as a physical space of reference in multilateral events. It acts as a meeting point for knowledge exchange, collective reflection, and strengthening the Alliance. It also includes initiatives aimed at raising public awareness of the centrality of care in our societies, contributing to changing narratives and deconstructing gender stereotypes.
The Global Alliance for Care is launching a new Care Pavilion, with the support of the Care and Climate Initiative, the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada, the Avina Foundation, and the Procomum Institute, members of the Alliance, within the framework of the 30th UN Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP30).The Pavilion is also organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development and Assistance, Family and Fight against Hunger of the Government of Brazil, Rádio Savia, and UN Women Brazil.
This agenda features the program for the COP30 Care Pavilion, which will take place from November 15 to 16, 2025, at Espaço EcoAmazônias (R. dos Tamoios, 624 - Jurunas, Belém - PA, 66025-125, Brazil). It also includes other events organized by the Global Alliance for Care during COP30.
