The Care Pavilion continues to consolidate itself as an innovative space for positioning the care agenda within major multilateral debates, this time at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP) in Belém, Brazil.
It’s almost October 29, and the world is gearing up to talk about care. Are you?
Get ready, get loud, and get creative —because care deserves the spotlight.
The Care Pavilion closed with a day of reflection, creativity, and political commitment. On the final day of FfD4, transformative narratives, local voices, and strategies were highlighted to keep care at the heart of the global agenda.
This Wednesday at the Care Pavilion, during the FfD4, the agenda focused on forging new international alliances, connecting governments and multilateral actors, and recognizing care work as a cornerstone of sustainable development.
FfD4 hosted the launch of the initiative “Investing in Care,” led by Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, UN Women, ILO, and the Global Alliance for Care, aiming to transform global financing by recognizing care as essential infrastructure for sustainable development.
The Care Pavilion hosts the Forum on the Bi-Regional Care Pact between LAC and the EU, led by the EU-LAC Foundation with the Government of Spain, the Government of Colombia, ECLAC, UN Women, GIZ, and the Global Alliance for Care.
