Building caring societies across the G20 and beyond
International conference on the sidelines of the G20 Social Summit. This is a W20 & T20 side-event, that presents a unique opportunity to engage with global stakeholders, foster dialogue and collaboration.
Convened as a joint effort among multiple G20 engagement groups and renowned organisations from around the world, the event will gather a diverse range of speakers to share their perspectives, experiences, and knowledge to advance action aimed at transforming the world of care. The convening will also serve as an opportunity to amplify the voices of the Global South, promoting a care agenda that incorporates and reflects the perspectives and needs of developing countries.

The event is co-hosted by the Care 20 initiative, led by CIPPEC and Southern Voice with support from IDRC, the Global Alliance for Care, the W20 and the T20. Organising partners also involve UN Women, ECLAC, the Brazilian National Secretariat of Care, UCLG, UNRISD, Instituto Eqüit and Oxfam.
