More info: Description: Economic violence against women is a complex problem that in Argentina affects 1 in 4 women. It is important to analyze the "vicious circle" that is generated between the overload of care tasks, economic violence and the impact on the lack of economic autonomy; as well as the way in which this affects their possibilities to participate in different spaces (such as educational, social, etc) in a context of crisis that threatens to impoverish women and diversities. The event will provide an opportunity to learn about experiences implemented in Argentina to address economic violence and to discuss possible instances of articulation at the local and regional levels.
Simultaneous English-Spanish translation and interpretation in ASL will be available.
Organized by: ELA - Latin American Team for Justice and Gender.
