Secretariat for Women, Diversity, and Equality, Government of the Province of San Luis
The Secretariat for Women, Diversity, and Equality of the Province of San Luis has been working to prioritize care since 1986, when the Secretariat was established (the first of its kind in our country). Since 2020, following the pandemic, a specific unit—the Subprogram on Social Organization of Care and Time Use—was created. This policy initiative represents a decision to place care at the center of the agenda, coordinating with various societal actors, organizing workshops and training sessions, and currently collaborating on the drafting of the provincial bill titled “Care Strategy.”
