Civil society
The Asociación de Travestis, Transexuales y Transgénero del Perú (ATTTPE) is a civil society organization dedicated to defending and promoting the human rights of trans women. It works on policy advocacy, community leadership development, and the creation of support networks to strengthen the autonomy and well-being of the population it serves.
ATTTPE provides support in the areas of comprehensive health, employment, legal assistance, and psychological care. It also organizes workshops and activities that raise awareness of and recognize the care work carried out by trans women within their families and communities.
