The Yucatán government is promoting the development of a caring society through the “Alliances for Equality” program, which works with public, private, and social institutions to foster shared responsibility and a culture of care with a focus on gender equality and human rights. The program includes training, guidance, and awareness-raising efforts to transform workplaces and move toward more egalitarian and inclusive organizations.

In addition, the state is strengthening care for older adults and people with disabilities, including in-home care and prevention services through strategies such as “Salud Casa por Casa.”
