The Global Youth Opportunity Network (GOYN) Mexico City
The Global Youth Opportunity Network (GOYN) Mexico City works to promote the social and economic inclusion of young people who face structural barriers to accessing education and decent work. As part of its care agenda, it has promoted youth participation in the debate on Mexico City’s Public Care System.
Through its Youth Advisory Group, GOYN has highlighted how caregiving responsibilities, which are often unpaid, affect young people’s educational, professional, and personal trajectories. It has also developed proposals to incorporate their needs into care policies and participates in advocacy and dialogue with authorities.
