The Movimiento de Mujeres Positivas works to advance the rights, autonomy, and well-being of women living with HIV in Latin America and the Caribbean. Its work addresses care from the perspective of holistic health, bodily autonomy, and sexual and reproductive rights.

The organization carries out advocacy efforts, strengthens organizations, and provides community support, promoting access to information, treatments, and health services free from stigma and discrimination. It also raises awareness of the specific needs of women living with HIV in areas such as motherhood, breastfeeding, HIV prevention, and sexual health, and empowers them to make informed decisions about their bodies and their lives.
