Civil society
The Pólis Institute is a civil society organization that works to promote the right to the city and to build more just, democratic, sustainable, and inclusive cities. As part of its care agenda, it analyzes how urban organization, mobility, public services, and infrastructure contribute to the unequal distribution of care responsibilities, particularly for women.
Through research and proposals on care territories, it advocates for the integration of care into urban planning and public policy, promoting services and facilities that support both caregivers and those in need of care.
