Over the years, Red de Género y Comercio has worked on feminist economic justice, particularly by analyzing the differentiated gender impacts of economic and macroeconomic decisions. Its work focuses especially on issues affecting women, including their participation in the labor market, care, debt, and poverty.

Red de Género y Comercio produces empirical evidence and disseminates the findings of its research and analysis among a wide range of women’s and feminist movements in its countries and across Latin America. Through this work, it promotes activism around the effects of economic policies on women’s lives and advocates for greater influence on the economic decisions made by governments and parliaments.

In this context, Red de Género y Comercio has organized numerous meetings, seminars, and training courses, both in person and online. It also has an extensive publication record, including books, booklets, and brochures. In addition, it works closely with grassroots and community-based organizations to strengthen their capacities and provide them with support.
