At the CSA’s 3rd Women’s Conference, the importance of ensuring decent work in the care sectors—in both paid and unpaid care work—was highlighted. In this context, the CSA reaffirms the need to promote comprehensive and universal public care policies that recognize and value this work on an equal footing with that of other productive sectors, highlighting the care burden that falls primarily on women and children. Care is a fundamental pillar of collective well-being and the sustainability of life and our societies.
