Bahia Cuida (Bahia Cares Observatory) is a pioneering care observatory developed by Instituto Foz in partnership with local organizations to support the implementation of care policies in the state of Bahia, Brazil. The platform integrates and organizes data on care needs, services, and infrastructure across sectors such as health, education, social assistance, gender, and race. It also maps care-related facilities and provides evidence to help governments, civil society, and researchers design, monitor, and strengthen care policies. By making care visible through data, Bahia Cuida contributes to more equitable, evidence-based, and gender-responsive public policies.
