Vision of the elderly care system in Cuba's future.
Cuba is moving towards a society in which care for the elderly is guaranteed, their quality of life is promoted and their rights to participate fully in civil, economic, social, cultural and political life are protected. At the same time, it is concerned about the welfare of those who provide care in the family environment and the labor rights of those who perform this work in a paid manner, since they are usually a highly invisible and unprotected sector in different areas.
