Document of Bases for Care
The Advisory Board for Care was established in September 2021 in response to the need to set up a stable participatory mechanism to accompany the Ministry of Equality and the Women's Institute in its agenda on public care policies. It was created as a space for the exchange of experiences and knowledge for the elaboration of proposals and contents on care that contribute to the reflection and design of public intervention in this area. In practice, however, it has become a mechanism for participation in public policies on care that nurtures not only the policies promoted directly by the Ministry of Equality, but also those promoted by other administrations, given that the Bureau is also made up of six ministries with responsibilities in the area of care, with all plenary sessions being co-chaired by the Ministry of Equality and the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030.
