Women Deliver Americas- Mayor's Office of Bogota. Care and Time Policies. Synthesis of the conversations
The panelists participating in the conferences and laboratories associated with the thematic axis "Care and time policies: a look at women's time poverty" approached the discussions from three dimensions: 1) Conceptions and definitions of care as a system: the participants wondered how care is and can be defined within the framework of a system that integrates the diverse notions, knowledge and experiences of caregiving individuals and communities and the challenges that this brings; 2) Design of public policies on care: the participants discussed how these diverse notions can be translated into a public policy commitment, as well as the challenges of its political and financial sustainability; 3) Implementation of public policies on care: some examples were presented and the challenges of their political and financial sustainability; 4) Implementation of public policies on care: some examples were presented and some examples were discussed: The way in which these diverse notions can be grounded in a public policy proposal was discussed, as well as the challenges of its political and financial sustainability; 3) Implementation of public policies on care: some examples and challenges were presented when integrating the state, community, individual and private care offerings into actions.
