Caring for Equality: A data collaboration to create a Care

Caring for Equality: A data collaboration to create a Care
2021
English

The Buenos Aires City's Statistics Bureau partnered with the Open Data Charter to build a Care Indicator System (CIS) to show how care supply and demand are distributed in Buenos Aires. Our objective was to provide the evidence needed for better policy making and informed debate on care services provision, potential care demands, care tasks distribution from a gender perspective, and gaps in information, among others; with the ultimate goal of reducing gender inequalities between men and women.
