24/7 From reflection to action, for a caring Mexico
24/7 De la reflexión a la acción, por un México que cuida

As we write these lines, Mexico and many countries are at an exceptional and demanding moment. We have gone through forty years of growth that has extinguished 52 percent of the planet's biodiversity (WWF 2014: 9). We inhabit a world where the richest 1 percent of people own more than twice as much wealth as 90 percent of the world's population (Lawson, Parvez, Harvey et. al 2020: 8). A pandemic is highlighting that human life is an inescapable web of interdependencies. We are at a moment that compels us to look at the damaging assumptions of an economic model that undermines our health and curtails the living space in the world we inhabit.
