State of the World’s Fathers report 2023
This is an invitation to join UN Women and Equimundo panel on Friday, 27th October (10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon)- to unveil the 2023 State of the "World’s Fathers report".
The Panel includes the participation of Mohammad Naciri, Chief of Staff of UN Women; Gary Barker, Equimundo Founder and CEO; Houry Geudelekian, NGO CSW/NY Pass Chair, Current Advocacy Consultant; Christian Courtis, Gender Adviser, OHCHR New York Office; Delfina Schenone Sienra, ELA Policy Adviser and Emmanuel Karamage; RWAMREC Project Manager.
This interactive discussion on men's and boys’ caregiving roles will be an opportunity to highlight the crucial importance of shared domestic responsibilities in propelling genuine and accelerated progress toward gender equality. The event will include opening remarks, an informal presentation of the 2023 State of the "World’s Fathers report’s" key findings, and a fireside chat-style conversation about how and why fatherhood matters on the eve of the world’s first International Day of Care and Support.
