Civil society
ARTRA (Arts and Social Transformation) is a civil society organization committed to promoting art and culture as tools for social change, with a strong focus on reproductive justice, gender equity, and the visibility of the experiences of women and communities in situations of vulnerability.
ARTRA's work has fostered artistic and community-driven processes that critically engage with the realities of migration, care work, and the many ways in which women and gender-diverse people sustain life.
ARTRA primarily uses evidence-based and data-based film, creative writing, and other artistic expressions as languages to document, raise awareness, and generate public dialogue around these issues.
