The YP Foundation (TYPF) is a youth-led organization that promotes feminist and rights-based leadership on issues of health, gender justice, sexual rights, and social justice.
Through its HOLD: Centering Collective Care initiative, it works to position collective care as a social and institutional responsibility, promoting safer, more inclusive, and more sustainable organizations and spaces for youth participation. The program aims to ensure that care is understood as a structural value that influences well-being, a sense of belonging, the distribution of resources, and young people’s participation in civil society.
In addition, TYPF has developed the YOUth Care Network, a network of young people trained to provide psychosocial first aid and peer support, thereby strengthening community networks for youth well-being and mental health.
