The Gender Institute at Royal Holloway, University of London, is an academic center dedicated to research, education, and advocacy on gender and inequalities. From an interdisciplinary perspective, it conducts research aimed at generating knowledge and tools for social transformation.

In the area of care, the Institute is carrying out the CaRI – Care, Rights, and Inclusion project, which investigates innovations in care policies in the Americas and other comparative contexts. The project analyzes experiences with feminist care policies and generates knowledge to strengthen inclusion and rights within care systems.
