Graduated in International Affairs and Political Science from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla. She has experience in gender, security, and migration in governmental and academic contexts. She has participated as a research assistant at the Center for the Study of Impunity and Justice (CESIJ), where she was part of the research program on equality in security and justice institutions. She was part of the implementation team of the MOWIP Methodology for the evaluation of the barriers faced by Mexican women in their professional careers in the armed and security forces, as well as for their participation in UN peace operations.
